Brazil vs France June 9, 2013 Friendly Match

Brazil team is not with Leandro Damiao for the stay of France to Porto Alegre, also the Confederations Cup, later in time the Internacional striker hobbled of training on Thursday.

Replacing Damiao in the squad is Atletico Minieiro's Jo, formerly of Manchester City, with the forward called up to the Selecao for the first time since the Olympic Games in Beijing in 2008.

Otherwise, coach Luiz Felipe Scolari is to field largely the same XI that grabbed a 2-2 draw against England in Rio de Janeiro last weekend, though Marcelo is expected to displace Filipe Luis in defence.

France coach Didier Deschamps is also unlikely to alter his squad too much following Wednesday's 1-0 defeat to Uruguay in Montevideo. Real Madrid's Karim Benzema will undergo a late fitness test and could yet be handed the nod ahead of Olivier Giroud up front.

The likes of Eliaquim Mangala and Benoit Tremoulinas are set to continue their roles at the Arena do Gremio, though Clement Grenier - who sparkled briefly from the bench - is also in the running for a first start.
